Privacy Policy — Anchor & Entity Link Auditor

Anchor & Entity Link Auditor is a Chrome extension that scans the links on the web page you are currently viewing and scores each anchor keyword using a local, on-device heuristic. This extension does not collect, transmit, sell, or store any personal data, browsing history, or page content on any external server.

What the extension accesses

When you click "Scan halaman ini" on a page you have open, the extension reads — only for that single active tab, only when you trigger the scan —:

• The page's links (anchor text and destination URLs)
• The page's visible text, title, and headings (h1–h3)

This data is used solely to calculate a local relevance score. It is processed entirely within your browser, in memory, and is discarded when you close the side panel or navigate away. Nothing is written to disk, synced, or sent anywhere.

What the extension does not do

• No network requests are made by this extension. There is no external API, analytics service, or third-party server involved.
• No account, sign-in, or personal identifiers are required or collected.
• No cookies, browsing history, or data from tabs other than the one you actively scan are accessed.
• No advertising or tracking of any kind.

Permissions used

• activeTab — grants temporary access to the tab you are viewing only when you explicitly click the scan button. No background or persistent access.
• scripting — allows the extension to read link and text content from the active tab at the moment you request a scan.
• sidePanel — displays the extension's results interface in Chrome's side panel.

Data export

If you choose to click "Export CSV," a CSV file is generated locally in your browser and downloaded directly to your device. This file is never uploaded or transmitted anywhere by the extension.
