CRO Lens: Product Page Auditor ("CRO Lens", "the Extension", "we") is a Chrome extension that provides instant Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) audits for e-commerce product pages. This Privacy Policy explains what data the Extension accesses, how it is processed, and what it does not do with your information.

1. Summary

• CRO Lens does not require an account, login, or sign-up.
• All page analysis is performed locally in your browser using a content script that reads the current tab's page structure (DOM).
• We do not operate a backend server that receives your page content, URLs, or browsing activity.
• We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties, because we do not collect any in the first place.
• We do not use tracking, analytics, or advertising SDKs inside the Extension.

2. What the Extension Accesses, and Why

3. Data We Do Not Collect

CRO Lens does not collect, transmit, or store on any server:

• Page content, screenshots, or URLs of the pages you audit
• Any analytics or usage-tracking identifiers

4. How Audit Results Are Generated

When you click to run an audit, CRO Lens reads the current page's DOM directly in your browser and evaluates it against a built-in set of CRO heuristics (product clarity, pricing signals, trust elements, call-to-action effectiveness, page structure, and persuasion triggers). The results are computed and displayed entirely within your browser session and are not sent anywhere.

5. Local Storage

Any settings or preferences you configure are stored using Chrome's built-in storage API on your own device. This data stays local to your browser profile, is never transmitted to us or anyone else, and is removed if you uninstall the Extension or clear its storage.

6. Third Parties

CRO Lens does not integrate with third-party analytics, advertising, or data processing services. No data is shared with, sold to, or processed by any third party.

7. Children's Privacy

CRO Lens is a professional tool intended for e-commerce owners, marketers, and UX professionals. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
